Select **Export** in the editor header to deliver the active Timeline. The button is disabled while that Timeline is empty, so add at least one clip first.

## Open the panel and choose an output

1. Switch to the Timeline you intend to deliver.
2. Select **Export** in the top bar.
3. Choose the tab that matches the handoff.

The CapCut or Jianying tab appears only when ChatCut Desktop detects a compatible installation on the same computer. It creates an editable project draft, not a finished video.

Manual Web video and audio exports automatically use browser or cloud rendering according to compatibility and current service settings. Select the intended Timeline before starting. Keep the project tab open while browser rendering runs; cloud rendering needs the required media uploaded and accessible. Follow the same job in the queue if it is preparing media or reports a failure.

Agent Plugin video and audio exports use browser rendering by default and target an explicitly identified project and Timeline. Cloud video or audio requires your explicit request or agreement; a failed local job does not automatically switch to cloud. See [Web vs Desktop Export](https://pr-670-preview.chatcut.dev/docs/web-export-limits) for the requirements and recovery steps.

For Desktop local video, use the controls offered in **Export → Video**, including dynamic range, resolution, frame rate, video bitrate and range. Confirm that the project and its media are available on that computer; see [Desktop Local Export and 4K](https://pr-670-preview.chatcut.dev/docs/desktop-local-export).

## Find the task after starting

File exports appear in the queue below the header Export button. Keep the editor open, then use **Download again**, **View**, **Retry**, **Show in Finder**, or **Open** when that action appears. See [Export Queue, Downloads, and Retries](https://pr-670-preview.chatcut.dev/docs/export-history) for the queue’s retention limits.
